Barrie MLS NEXT Pro Opens Priority Access for Founding Season Memberships and Premium Experiences

August 4, 2026

Limited-time registration provides supporters with exclusive early access to Founding Season Membership Deposits beginning in September 2026.

BARRIE, ONTARIO — Barrie MLS NEXT Pro announced that Priority Access Registration is now open at www.barriemlsnextpro.ca, giving supporters exclusive early access to Founding Season Membership Deposits for the club's inaugural 2028-2029 season.

Supporters who register for Priority Access will receive an exclusive purchasing window for Founding Season Membership Deposits in September, before the remaining allocation is released to the general public in November 2026. Registration is free.

Priority Access Members will also receive invitations to exclusive club events throughout the fall and winter, providing opportunities to connect with fellow supporters, meet members of the club's leadership team and follow the club's progress toward its inaugural season.

"Our historic launch event in July marked the beginning of our club's journey, and Barrie's journey, into the professional soccer ecosystem," said Peter Raco, President and CEO of Barrie MLS NEXT Pro. "The next step is bringing together our founding supporters and building the community that will help define this club for years to come. Priority Access is an opportunity to become part of the club from the very beginning and help build our new club’s identity."

Barrie MLS NEXT Pro is scheduled to begin play in MLS NEXT Pro’s 2028-2029 season and will be the anchor tenant in Barrie's new downtown stadium. The venue will feature 3,500-4,500 permanent seats, expandable to 7,500 seats, and is being designed as a destination for professional sports, concerts, international sporting events, community sports and celebrations and live entertainment.

In addition to MLS NEXT Pro matches, Founding Season Membership holders will receive priority purchasing opportunities for all events hosted at the stadium, allowing supporters to secure their seats before tickets become available to the general public.

The club expects to announce its official name, crest and colours in Spring 2027. Additional announcements regarding seating plans, premium hospitality experiences, commercial partnerships and preparations for the inaugural season will follow.
